Course Name: Algebra I End of Course Success

Course Description: This course demonstrates how to improve overall math instruction and achievement to ensure student success on the Algebra I EOC assessment. Participants will examine concepts in the Algebra I TEKS and learn strategies through student-centered lessons. The course also provides connections to the College and Career Readiness Standards (CCRS), the English Language Proficiency Standards (ELPS), and the Response to Intervention (RtI) model.

Prerequisites: This course has no prerequisites.

Intended Audience: Algebra 1 teachers, applicable special education and ESL teachers, and coordinators/administrators who did not participate in face-to-face training offered at ESCs in summer and fall 2010
