Course Name: Addressing the College and Career Readiness Standards in Math

Course Description: This course is designed to help participants develop an understanding of the Texas College and Career Readiness Standards (CCRS) as they relate to grades 5–8 math Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) and preparation for student success in algebra.

Prerequisites: (1) MSTAR Introduction: An Executive Summary (for participants who did not attend face-to-face MSTAR training and are completing all training via the online MSTAR courses) (2) MSTAR Academy I: Grades 5–6 or 7–8 (face-to-face or online).

Intended Audience: MSTAR Academy I grades 5–6 or 7–8 (face-to-face or online) participants only.
