Course description:
This self-paced course provides an in-depth look at the purpose and structure of the English Language Arts and Reading Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS), the College and Career Readiness Standards (CCRS), and the English Language Proficiency Standards (ELPS). It is recommended that participants complete the ELAR TEKS: Foundations course before enrolling in this course. This course is managed by the Vaughn Gross Center for Reading and Language Arts (500-657).
Intended Audience:
Grades 3-5 teachers, applicable Bilingual/ESL and special education teachers, and applicable instructional supervisors
