The purpose of this course is to facilitate analysis of science TEKS in both the horizontal and vertical planes through the lens of science careers. Through a backwards-mapping approach, participants consider the skills and knowledge needed for success in two different physical science careers. Participants then use a variety of interactives to analyze the alignment of concepts and skills in the science TEKS and CCRS. The goal is to promote educator discussion surrounding student supports for success. This course is managed by Region 4 (101-950): Texas Education Service Center. CPE credit is 1.
